About Stephen Deason

Leveraging close to three decades of experience in a variety of positions, Stephen Deason is an entrepreneur who currently serves as CEO of The OPARASA Group and Executive Chairman of The OPARASA Foundation . Through OPARASA, which he co-founded in June of 2019, Stephen Deason and his team purchase and run businesses while also working with clients going through recovery programs to help them access housing and the job market.

Before taking his current position, Mr. Deason served as CEO of Denver-based GRYYT, and also spent time as the CFOO of ChikPea, where he was responsible for business and systems analysis. He also has experience as a global accounting SME & senior success engineer at Sage Software, where he worked with a variety of clients.

Mr. Deason is a member of various professional organizations and non-profits, such as the Prison Scholars Fund where he serves on the board of directors and global telecommunications leader, Vinix Global, where he serves on the board of advisors. Outside of his career, he enjoys a variety of hobbies, including hiking and meditating.
